At Point Energy Partners, our Management Team is composed of industry leaders with extensive oil and gas experience building and leading private equity-backed companies, independent public companies, and multinational oilfield service providers.
Our broad-based technical and financial knowledge coupled with our operational experience forms the foundation of our collaborative and innovative approach to building a successful company that is safely and efficiently developing our core Delaware Basin position.
Bryan Moody
A founding member of Point Energy Partners, Bryan is a proven oil and gas executive who has raised billions of dollars in equity and senior notes in private and public markets, and has negotiated and managed credit facilities for multiple E&Ps.
He has more than a decade of experience leading reservoir engineering, finance and business development at Eclipse Resources, EXCO Resources and Sandridge Energy, and has overseen the analysis, acquisition and integration of more than $3 billion in assets. Bryan has a bachelor’s in nuclear engineering technology and an MBA from the University of Rochester.
John Sabia
A founding member of Point Energy Partners, John oversees finance and business development for the organization. Previously, John served as senior vice president at Holland Services where he managed working interests, minerals and royalties for institutional clients and family offices.
While at Holland, John was responsible for the funding and growth of Vine Royalty L.P., which was backed by a multi-national institutional investment company. Prior to Holland Services, he worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. John has a bachelor’s in geospatial information systems from the United States Military Academy at West Point, is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Ranger and Airborne schools; additionally, he has an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Andrew St. John
Andrew is an accomplished attorney with more than 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has represented multiple upstream and midstream clients on a variety of topics including operations, A&D, and general corporate matters. Andrew has a background in land title and has managed large teams of landmen and attorneys on title, acquisition, due diligence, and asset management projects in basins throughout the US. Andrew has a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston.
Will Arthur
Will joined us from ConocoPhillips in August of 2023 where he oversaw corporate reserves in the Persian Basin Business Unit, which comprised of over 2 bboe in total proved reserves. Will played a key role in the three-way integration of the Concho and Shell Permian assets after being acquired by ConocoPhillips in 2021. Prior to Conoco, Will worked for Concho on the Southern Lea County asset team where his core technical focus was developing rate-transient analysis methods for optimizing co-development. Will holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geoscience from Texas Christian University, as well as a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Keri Mitchell
Keri joined Point Energy Partners in August of 2023, bringing over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas and banking industries. Keri began her oil and gas career at SandRidge Energy in 2006, where she worked on planning and valuation for over $10B in transactions. She has subsequently held senior finance positions managing treasury, investor relations, and FP&A, and has served as an independent consultant for multiple public and private companies. Most recently, Keri served as the first CFO for Killam Oil Company, a privately-held E&P company, where she worked to integrate numerous acquisitions and built functionality in all areas of finance. Keri holds a Bachelor’s in Finance from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Oklahoma City University.
Nikki Tramel
Nikki brings 20+ years of experience in oil and gas finance and accounting where she has worked in both public and private O&G companies. Prior to Point Energy Partners, Nikki served as Controller at Vaquero Energy Inc, a privately held E&P company, based out of California where she led a team of accountants and was responsible for all accounting and financial reporting for the several different entities across five states. Nikki began her career at Occidental Petroleum in 2004 as an accountant where she rotated through various accounting responsibilities to financial analyst, subsequently transferring to the Financial Planning & Analysis team, and eventually to the Operations group as the Lead Cost Control where she led a team of analysts and oversaw project costs across California. Nikki holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from California State University of Bakersfield and is presently attending the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University, Executive MBA program.
Patty Chigas
Patty Chigas has an extensive background in the Oil & Gas industry and joined Point Energy Partners in February 2023 as an Accounts Payable Manager. Patty began her career in the Oil & Gas industry in Northern California Gas Fields. In this role, she supported field operations, particularly in production accounting, cost analysis, and regulatory reporting. During her time at the Northern California Gas Fields, Patty managed various responsibilities in the Sacramento Basin region. In addition to her operational roles, Patty was involved in accounts payable and vendor management, highlighting her financial acumen and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. Before she entered the Oil & Gas industry, Patty worked in finance and held the position of VP Sales. She was responsible for leading a highly successful sales team. Her background in finance has contributed to her understanding of financial and budgetary aspects of her roles in the Oil & Gas industry. Patty has worked at several notable Oil & Gas companies, including Oxy, Venoco, and California Resources. Overall, Patty Chigas brings 13 years of experience in various operational and financial roles within the Oil & Gas industry, making her a valuable addition to Point Energy Partners in her role as Accounts Payable Manager.
Branka Daravong
Branka is an experienced Human Resources professional who joined Point Energy in March 2023. She has a solid background in HR, having accumulated over 12 years of experience working for both private and public Oil & Gas operators. Prior to joining Point Energy, she worked at Vine Energy, Inc. and Murchison Oil & Gas, Inc.
Branka's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Texas, Arlington. Additionally, she is a certified professional through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), which reflects her commitment to the field and her proficiency in HR practices. She is fluent in English, Serbian and semi-fluent in Spanish.
Mandi Guerrero
Mandi Guerrero joined Point Energy Partners in August 2023 and serves as the Geologic and New Ventures Advisor. Previously, in her role as Geologist at Petro-Hunt L.L.C. she gained experience in most US onshore basins with a focus on the Delaware Basin, where she facilitated several large-scale acquisitions and guided asset development. In her 12 years within the oil and gas industry, she has evaluated a vast amount of unconventional and conventional resource plays. Mandi earned an M.S. degree in Geology from the University of Texas at Arlington and a B.S. degree in Geology from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is also a registered Professional Geologist with the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists and an active member in AAPG, DGS, and SPWLA.
Mark Graff
Mark began his career in 2003 at Chesapeake Energy, first working in IT and later Geosciences. More recently, Mark led a 12-person team as Director of IT at Eclipse Resources. Throughout his career, Mark has continued to develop his knowledge of oil and gas operations and back-office processes. His understanding of the business coupled with his technical knowledge has made Mark rarely suited to support every aspect of our business, which relies heavily on data driven results and process automation. At Point Energy Partners, Mark oversees the IT and Instrumentation & Electrical groups. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in IT with a Software Emphasis from Western Governors University and a master’s degree in Data Analytics from Penn State University.
